Its Not What it Seems

Okay so don't think us bad parents, but this was just too funny. Cassi has these headbands that we put on her sometimes that look oh-so-cute! Well you see, when we put her in her car seat and she moves her head around they slowly advance down her face and get stopped by her nose. Alan pointed this one out to me this day and asked if that's how I got her to sleep. (she was asleep, but that was just coincidence) My thoughts were that she looked like a ninja turtle without the eye holes cut through. I should have taken her blanket off so you could see her new black Sunday shoes that she was wearing. Maybe I'll get a snap shot of them one of these days. :)

Alright, this picture is showing you all the power of Cassi's upper-body strength! Alan is always commenting on this strength of hers whether it is when she is scooting around army crawl style or grasping her spoon/a pen so tight you can't get it out. For Alan's sister Rachel, this reminds me of the Chuck Norris joke, "When Chuck Norris does a push-up, he's pushing the world down." This is just Cassi doing that up-side-down, and......well the leg of the toy usually ends up in her mouth. Wow does she love getting herself caught in some weird places. At church today she put her chin to her chest and rolled between the leg of the piano bench and the wall. She was stuck there with her head bend forward because that was just small enough to fit. Wow don't the girls get a kick out of her in Relief Society. She sneezed in someone's face today while they held her so I could play the piano. She rolls, babble, spits, toots, and hiccups at church in all the right silent, reverent type moments. Does our ward get a kick out of her!
